The Tote Bags is a small online shop based in Manchester, selling women's bags for everyday use — the commute, the school run, weekends away, and all the ordinary days in between. We keep the range deliberately tight: a handful of shapes that earn their place, each one offered in enough colours that you can find the version you'll genuinely reach for.

Our tote bags are the heart of the collection, cut roomy enough for a laptop, a change of shoes or the bits you end up carrying for everyone else. The shoulder bags are the everyday middle ground — big enough to be useful, neat enough to wear out. Hand bags cover the smaller end, from structured top-handle shapes to RFID purses. And our cross body bags are for the days you'd rather have both hands free.

Colour is where we differ from most shops this size. Rather than stocking one or two safe shades, we run most styles across a wide palette — black, white, pink, navy, wine, coffee, green, rose, light grey, light beige and light blue, with up to eleven colours available on some designs. It means you can pick a bag to suit your wardrobe instead of working around what's left in stock.
